Singapore Gourmet Bus - A Moving Dining Experience

A first-of-its-kind dining concept in Asia, the Singapore GOURMETbus is a luxury tour coach AND a restaurant with the best window seats, sans kitchen and a unique event space, another fun project by DUCK & HiPPO group.
Singapore GOURMETbus aims to tantalise taste buds with delicious local cuisine while showcasing the iconic views of Singapore. All that on board a purpose-build-double-decker coach designed with the aesthetics of a fine dining restaurant, sans kitchen.
Love the cute duck whistles that were given to us along with the media press release! This is because Singapore GOURMETbus is operated by DUCK & HiPPO's Big Bus Singapore City Sightseeing Pte Ltd. SO.... QUACK QUACK!

With a cool interior, the top deck of the GOURMETbus can seat 32 people comfortably, and allows diners to enjoy the sights of Singapore as well as savour delicious meals on board.
The Singapore GOURMETbus offers guests a choice between the Lunch and Dinner show, each lasting approximately two hours. A two-course meal from a fixed menu will be served, followed by a hop-off intermission at Gardens by The Bay.
En route key sights include the Singapore Flyer, Esplanade, Merlion Park, National Gallery Singapore and Marina Bay Sands.

Our lunch spread! Hot piping char siew buns (my fav!) alongside mushroom bun, dumplings and the traditional carrot cake.
The cool thing about this is that, it was actually FLOUR outside made to look like mushroom, and ACTUAL REAL mushroom inside! So delicious!

Enjoying our meal onboard! Even though we only got a short lunch tour, Ken and I were pretty impressed with the whole experience! The bus driver was so good that I didn't even realize when the bus glided smoothly to a stop. The bus ride was smooth and steady, and we were able to enjoy our food, ambience and the scenery at the same time.
Besides offering a new way to enjoy Singapore, the Singapore GOURMETbus is a highly versatile venue of choice for a variety of corporate charter needs.
While boasting all the facilities of a fine dining restaurant, the GOURMETbus is also equipped with 14 projectors, wireless speaker microphones, sound system and Wi-Fi access, which are ideal for organizations that need to meet on-site at a specific location, or a mobile space to host differentiated corporate events, from networking sessions and appreciation dinners to seminars and product launches.

Singapore GOURMETbus opens daily from Monday - Saturday. Tim Sum lunch from Soup Restaurant will be from 1pm - 3pm at $57++ per pax. The Indo-Chinese dinner from IndoChine Group will be from 7.30pm - 9.30pm at $97++ per pax. Call +65 6338 6877 to make reservations!
