CapitaLand is launching ‘Decode the Emoji’ at CapitaLand Malls on World Emoji Day to celebrate our love for these Unicode characters. From 17 July to 13 August, CapitaLand malls will turn into a giant Emoji escape game where shoppers can enjoy an immersive experience with their favourite emojis!
We went down to Bugis+ to solve puzzles in this escape room to "Free the Genie" and managed to get out in time and got the genie to grant us our wishes!
Featuring five interactive, multi-sensory escape games filled with encrypted puzzles and cleverly construed riddles laid by Cryptic Emoji, blaze through challenges and help each of the classic fantasy tale protagonists complete their quests to a happily ever after ending.
We tried out the escape game room at Bugis+ and had a fun time! Available from 17 July – 23 July at Bugis+ L2 Atrium, it will take up no more than 30 minutes of you time as your crack your brains. You'll just have to spend $30 in Bugis Junction/Bugis+ to redeem your free ticket to this escape game! More information below.
The classic fantasy tale is now topsy turvy. Genie is trapped. Enter the treasure cave where every turn is a surprise laden with puzzle traps laid by Cryptic Emoji that will obstruct your quest to free the Genie. Solve the writings on the wall, rub the magical lamp, and set Genie free to grant wishes!
The first 1,000 to complete the game will receive 5,000 STAR$®. Locate event crew on-ground to scan the QR code to complete this mission.
