There are many skincare brands out in the market but today I want to tell you why Thomson Wellth -  a health and wellness concept by Thomson Medical group, is one of the most suitable skincare range for us Singaporean ladies! Thomson Wellth has conceptualised a holistic range of skin care products including the Apple Stem Cell Serum, Dark Spot Corrector, Stem Cell Activator Mask, UV Shield and a 2-step Skin Peel. Apple Stem Cell Serum 

This serum has a nice natural apple scent, as it is made using extracted stem cells from the Swiss Alps apples! It's also very lightweight and non-greasy, which is great for sensitive or oily/acne-prone skin. After using it for a week on my dry skin, I can see that it has helped to boost my skin's radiance, and improved the texture of my skin! The apple scent is also really pleasant.

Directions for use are twice daily day & night. For optimal results, use with Stem Cell Activator Mask. (which was what I did!)

Stem Cell Activator Mask 

This mask is made from Biocellulose, which is a naturally derived fibre that is structurally similar to that found in plants. It is hydrophilic (water loving), which can hold up to 100 times its dry weight! The main perk of using Biocellulose is that the fibers have the ability to both absorb and donate moisture and liquid, making them the perfect carrier for delivering nourishing ingredients for healthy, glowing skin!

The Stem Cell Activator Mask sticks SO WELL like a second skin! There are no mess and no drips, and it's hassle-free for ladies like me who like to multi-task while masking. It's also very ideal for people who do facial lasers regularly, as masks soothe dry and damaged skin after such procedures. Why I think this mask is amazing is because it can actually moisturise dry skin AND normalize oily skin simultaneously!

I really love this mask not only because the material of the mask sticks awesomely and so comfortably, but also because it allows maximum absorption of the mask's ingredients into the skin as the mask is in constant contact with the skin! After removing the mask, I can feel my skin slightly taut and SUPER SMOOTH to the touch. It leaves a very lightweight feel and I don't even feel the 'stickiness' which usually follows after mask application.

 For instant perk-me-up, use it before application of makeup for a supple and hydrated skin. Apply mask for 15-20 mins and pat out excess until fully absorbed.



2-Step Skin Peel

This 2-Step Skin Peel is gentle enough for daily use, and good for people who may be too busy to go for peels in clinics. The mandelic acid in the peel is of a larger molecule so it does not irritate sensitive skin. This skin peel is great for people who have acne-prone skin, and are looking to achieve a better skin texture. There's also no need to wash your face after application!

The first step is the Surface Refiner. This home treatment helps to refine the feel of rough skin texture, and it's ideal for lightening of skin pigmentation & scars, reducing pore size, improving acne and overall complexion. The surface refiner comes in a small white cloth and it's pretty amazing what it can do considering it looks like a simple white padding.

To restore moisture to your skin, use the Deeper Treatment as the second step - a Hyaluron serum that contains a variety of active hydrating ingredients. As you can see, there is an abundance of serum for the deeper treatment! This 2-Step Skin Peel is suitable for all skin types, especially for skin pigmentation and acne condition. As mentioned, it's also gentle for everyday use, ideally at night for a clearer and glowing skin the next morning. 

Directions

Apply Step 1 on cleansed face. Pat until fully absorbed. Apply Step 2, pat until fully absorbed. Wash hands after application, followed by moisturiser of your choice.

Dark Spot Corrector

This is specially formulated to even out skin tone, diminish dark spots and impart overall radiance and luminosity to the skin. It is also ideal for treatment of sun damage, wrinkles, and redness from post facial lasers.

Light-weight and non-greasy, this Dark Spot Corrector is suitable for all skin types. It's also free from parabens, alcohol, and fragrances. 

Recommended to use twice daily, day and night, on targeted areas. With continued daily use, the Dark Spot Corrector helps to prevent the formation of future dark spots and other discolorations. For optimal results, use with 2-Step Skin Peel.

UV Shield

Thomson Wellth also has an essential SPF60++ sunscreen in their range! I'm sure I don't need to explain the importance of applying sunblock on our skin right? Haha.

This UV Screen also contains a whitening agent which provides brightening effect to the skin. Each application provides up to 12 hours of protection (wow!) from environmental aggressors like UV rays and pollution, which contribute to premature skin ageing. It's also non-comedogenic, light-weight and non-greasy, suitable for all skin types.

As with most of Thomson Wellth's products, I really love the lightweight factor of this sunscreen. It leaves my skin feeling protected without the sticky feel, keeping my skin fresh and non-oily which is very important in Singapore's hot climate. Also because of its long hours of protection, I only need to apply it once in the day for maximum protection. No need for the hassle of reapplication in the middle of the day!

So far after using Thomson Wellth's range of skincare products, I do find improvements to my skin texture and my skin feels more bouncy. As I personally have dry skin, I don't frequent the use of the 2-Step Skin Peel. Instead, I use the Stem Cell Activator Mask and Apple Stem Cell Serum extensively twice a day, and I really love the feel of my skin after! Would really recommend this two skincare products!
